Fixing aerial photos

by John on March 13, 2009

Anyone who has tried to take photos from an airplane window has no doubt had results with poor color and a washed out look. Helen Bradley, a photographer and Photoshop professional, has recently posted an article that details the step by step process for fixing them in Photoshop. The results: beautiful photographs that actually capture what is seen from an airplane window.

Thank you for picking up this link John. I spend a lot of time flying and I take a lot of photos – some of the best taken on long hauls across the Australian desert. This blog post came from time spent fixing some of my favorite photos and I realised there were so few posts around to help folk clean up photos taken from thousands of feet up who obviously find the entertainment outside the plane better than what’s on the video screen inside!

Love your blog title..

cheers and happy flying and photographing and safe landings..

Helen
