Flat beds in economy? Yes you can, with Air New Zealand.

by Matthew Stibbe on January 26, 2010

image Air New Zealand has come up with a fantastic innovation in airliner seating: rows of three seats that turn into a flat bed. They call it ‘skycouch.’ If you book all three seats, for example if you travel with your family or just splurge for extra comfort, the seats transform into a bed. It’s not quite the luxury convertible bed seats you get in some first and business class sections but it is very close.  (Hat tip: Gadling.)
