How to improve your steep turns

by John on May 7, 2010

Jason Schappert has recently created a short but useful video about how to improve your steep turns. As Jason pointed out, the private pilot practical test standards will require would-be pilots to perform 45 degrees of bank. However, Jason likes to have his students practice a steep turn with the instruments covered because as he noted, it is easy for a pilot to get their “head stuck inside the cockpit looking at instruments” – a point well worth noting by both students and experienced pilots.
