The new Garmin G3000 touch-screen glass cockpit

by John on November 4, 2009

Garmin has recently announced the G3000 system, the first touch screen-controlled glass flight deck to be designed for light turbine aircraft. The new system features streamlined menu structures that eliminate visual clutter and a whole range of mechanical knobs, buttons and switches plus data entry is centralized in one location that is easy to access.

However and to best learn about the G3000, three great demo videos from Youtube plus a cool promotional video straight from the Garmin Blog are posted on PlasticPilot. These demo videos will give you a great overview of the new system’s capabilities and an excuse to invest in an upgrade for your aircraft. G3000

I want one! But I’m really worried I’ll leave chocolate fingerprints on it after a quick in-the-air lunch!
