It might be September already, there there is still a full line up of UK air shows or aviation events for the coming weekend (September 7 to 8th):
Friday to Sunday
Victory Show 2013 at Foxlands Farm, Cosby, Leicestershire. Now in its 8th year, this tribute to World War II will be held over a 100 acre site where there will be re-enactments through various forces from several eras and theatres during the 1939-45 period. There will be something for everyone, including static WWII aircraft, tank rides, 1940’s working and static farming machinery, a huge Army encampment, 50+ re-enactment groups, 200+ vehicles (including heavy armour, tanks and much more), the Hinckley Model Boat Club and Paul Harper playing throughout the day in the Marquee. In addition, the 1940’s themed Dinner Dance for 700 + guests will be on Saturday night.
Tickets for the weekend are £15 for adults or £5 for children while World War II vets are free (but a pass is required). Note: There is no official air show or re-enactment battle scheduled for Friday when school day ticket prices are £10 for adults or £3 for children.
