British air shows this weekend: Royal International Air Tattoo plus the War and Peace Revival

The world’s largest military vehicle spectacular and the world’s biggest military air show are either ongoing or scheduled for this weekend: - War and Peace Revival 2013War and Peace Revival 2013 at the Folkestone Racecourse, Kent. Having already begun on Wednesday, the War and Peace Revival 2013 is the largest military vehicle spectacular in the world featuring re-enactments that will include historic warbirds and spectacular pyrotechnics. Tickets are available at the gate on the day you plan to attend. Please note that the Westenhanger train station is a 5 minute walk to the public entrance; and by special request, the high speed rail link will be stopping at that station on Saturday and Sunday.


Static DisplaysRoyal International Air Tattoo 2013 at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire. The world’s biggest military airshow, the Royal International Air Tattoo 2013 is considered to be one of the UK’s top outdoor family events attracting participants from all corners of the world for over eight hours of flying along with extensive static displays (click here for a full list of aircraft displays). Standard admission is £45 (for Saturday) and £40 (for Sunday) with children under 16 being free.
