Video: A water bomber puts out a truck fire

Vehicle fires are among the most dangerous fires confronted by firefighters, but when a grader and a tractor trailer collided on a remote stretch of the Trans-Labrador Highway in Canada, the firefighters called in the big guns in the form of a water bomber and it was all recorded on video:

Apparently, the accident had occurred too far away for firefighting equipment to reach it and those involved in the accident were both able to get away from the crash site before the water bomber dropped its load.

A section of the highway was closed for much of the day while the mess was cleaned up while the driver of the tractor trailer was taken to a hospital, but is expected to be ok. - Water Bomber Puts Out Truck Fire
