Golf Hotel Whiskey: for pilots and aviation enthusiasts

Extreme crop dusting video

Hat tip to FlightSchoolList.com for posting this nine minute extreme crop dusting video of a crop duster who must fly over roadway and under a power line on the edge of some cotton fields. Talk about extreme flying and an extreme day job!

According to comments on Youtube.com, a crop duster will just need a commercial license as well as an applicator license in order to dispense chemicals. Moreover, they also now use GPS in order to ensure patterns are flown correctly and the right amount of chemicals is dispersed.

Nevertheless, crop dusting is still a job for a pilot with plenty of courage – especially when it comes to dusting fields like the one shown in the video.
