Scary windy landings video

Hat tip to the FlightSchoolList.com for posting this video compilation of some very scary windy landings. I guess the only think worst than being a pilot of one of these aircraft would have been being a passenger on board!

    Quite a few of those clips were from Wellington International Airport in New Zealand, where I did my training. Needless to say, we didn't fly Tomahawks in conditions like that!

    Oddly enough, it's hard to get crosswind training at NZWN. The wind is almost always straight up or down the runway, and when it isn't the conditions are good only for video crews and skilled airline pilots.
